Simple Way to Lose Weight

Fad diets are great for one thing; getting exposure to the world of fitness.  What they lack, though, is simplicity.  If you really want to lose weight, ignore  the fad diets like Atkins, South Beach, or any of those late night infomercial contraptions.  It’s really simple: you can lose weight by burning more calories than you consume. This can be accomplished this by either burning more calories or consuming fewer calories. Most people will eat less and exercise more when they diet. Obviously, you want to eat nutritious food. Dont consume 2000 calories of candy bars and then expect working out to erase all that. Be smart in your food selection. Below is a link to the American Cancer Society website. On there, they have a great tool that shows you how many calories you need to consume based on your current weight, sex, and physical activiy. It then tells you how many less calories you need to consume to lose weight.  Give it a whirl.
