BFL Week 1 – Day 3

Today is Week 1 – Day 3 of my Body for Life challenge and it was a great one.  I got to the gym already quite sore from doing the Biggest Loser Cardio Max last night with my fiancee.  I wasn’t too excited to start my lower body workout but I trudged forward. I started by doing 2 minutes on the elliptical trying to get everything loosened up; did a few stretches and then hit the weights.  Below was my workout.

  • Leg Presses – 12,10,8,6,12
  • Leg Extensions – 12
  • Dumbbell Lunges – 12,10,8,6,12
  • Leg Curls – 12
  • Seated Calf Raises – 12,10,8,6,12
  • Standing Heel Lifts – 12
  • Ab Crunches – 12,10,8,6,12
  • Hanging Knee Lifts – 12

By the time I was done, I was hobbling back to the locker room; exhausted but happy that I did it. Right now my legs feel pretty good but we shall see once I attempt to stand up!

Tomorrow is cardio. Bring it on!!
