My manager at work likes to point out to everyone that, at one point, I weighed a lot more than I do now. He likes to call it “Fat Tyson”. I think he is impressed by the transformation that I have gone through in the last few years. Others have doubted his story of obesity so I thought I would try and find a picture that summed up my life back then. Alas I found one. The picture below was taking almost 4 years ago. I would have to say that at that point, I was at my heaviest; probably tipping the scales near 230. I showed this picture to a few people here at work and no one can believe that its me. One guy even thought I found a picture of someone that looks like me and claimed it as my own. Sorry guys but this was me. “Was” being the key word here.

Even seeing the picture, it’s hard to believe that’s you.
I am the subject of the picture and I even have a hard time with it. I have always had an up and down struggle with my weight. This happened to be one of the big downs.
wait a minute. so you’re saying that 230 is heavy?!? crap. i’m in some trouble then…
You are a lot taller than me so that would explain the difference.
Ha! good one! i know i’m fat. i just need some self-motivation. i KNOW i need to work out and eat right, but i just can’t get myself to stick with it.
