Tyson Two posts in one day! Its a new record!!
I don’t complain too often about the people at my gym. I know everyone is different. We all have different lift techniques, styles of clothing, hygiene preferences, etc. One thing that upsets me is when people hog the weights. This is what happened to me today. I was trying to do P90x Shoulders and Arms, I just got done with Side Tri-Rises and went to grab some weight to do my In & Out Straight Arm Shoulder Flys. Imagine my surprise when I found out that all the weights from 5 pounds all the way up to 20 pounds were being used…by the same two guys!! This is quite the feat considering that every weight increment has 2 sets and they go up by 2.5 pounds. These guys were doing some sort of circuit with dumbbells and had all the dumbbells surrounding their bench, along with both of their gym bags (apparently the locker room is not to their liking). They both had to do the workout at the same time so using both sets of weight was a must. So I proceeded to do the only thing that I could and grabbed a set of 20lbs dumbbells for my two angle shoulder fly’s. I guess I should have thanked them for pushing me to do more weight than I probably would have. Thanks guys!
