Lazy Need Not Apply – Part I
July 20th, 2009
Tyson
As many have read, I finished a P90x cycle a few months back. Since then I have continued to do the workouts while switching back and forth between phases. Lately, however, my motivation has been lacking as I longed for something new. So I decided to take the concept of P90x and thrown in some new exercises. Today was the first day of my new program. I call it LNNA (Lazy Need Not Apply). Now before I get a ton of hate mail…actually hate mail would be kind of nice since I get zero email right now; this isn’t an official program and I am not trying to step on anyone’s toes. P90x is the bomb, end of story. Also LNNA is sort of a lame name so I am taking suggestions on something cool and hip.
1, Push-Up w/trunk twist (20 reps)
2, Wide Front Pull-Up (20 reps)
3, Plyo Push-Up (20 reps)
4, Close Grip Lat Pull-Down (20 reps)
5, Box Push-Up Switch (20 reps)
6, Closed Grip Overhand Pull-Down (20 reps)
7, Diamond Push-Up on Box (20 reps)
8, Lawnmower (20 reps)
9, Dive-Bomber Push Up (20 reps)
10, Standing one-leg Back Fly (20 reps)
Repeat
2,1 (Take to failure)
4,3 (Take to failure)
6,5 (Take to failure)
8,7 (Take to failure)
10,9 (Take to failure)
12, Cable Fly
Tomorrow I am going to try and tackle some new plyo moves. Any suggestions?
