Lazy Need Not Apply – Part II

bike_gymToday’s LNNA workout was going to be plyometrics but when I got to the gym, my usual room was being taken over by the club staff for a meeting. My protests got me nowhere and I had to succumb to doing intervals on the treadmill and the elliptical machine. I followed that up with some ab work. After my anger wore off I decided that this probably wasn’t a bad thing. One of the core elements of P90x is muscle confusion but yet every Tuesday for months on end I have been doing Plyometrics. Doing some intervals instead probably threw my body for a bit of a loop. Even if it didn’t, I still like the change of pace and might do this for a few more weeks.

Here is todays workout.

  • 3 minutes at 5mph and 1% incline
  • 1 minute at 9mph and 1% incline
  • 3 minutes at 5mph and 2% incline
  • 1 minute at 9.5mph and 2% incline
  • 3 minutes at 4mph and 2% incline
  • 1 minute at 9mph and 2% incline
  • 2 minutes at 3mph and 2% incline

  • 3 minutes at Level 2 Intensity
  • 1 minute at Level 10 Intensity
  • 3 minutes at Level 5 Intensity
  • 1 minute at Level 12 Intensity
  • 3 minutes at Level 5 Intensity
  • 1 minute at Level 12 Intensity
  • 3 minutes at Level 5 Intensity
  • 1 minute at Level 15 Intensity
