Alternative Cardio Workout

Sometimes a cardio workout doesn’t have to be a trip on the dreadmill or running down the sidewalk. Case in point, on Saturday morning the kids and I took off for the local soccer field; them on their bikes and me running beside. When we got there, we did a lap to warm up and then played a great game of soccer.  20 minutes later, we were back on the bike path heading home.

2 goals achieved that morning.  First I got to  spend an hour with my kids having some fun.  The second was that I got a good workout in.  It was a great morning!
