So I started the second phase of p90x today. Day 1 – Shoulders, Chest, and Triceps. I forgot how great the concept of muscle confusion is. During the workout, my muscles were complaining about the weight and the exercises felt awkward. After my workout was over, I had issues trying to wash my hair in the shower and even getting dressed seemed like a task that I was not used to fulfilling. I felt sore but satisfied.
That is what makes P90x so great. It changes up the workouts every few weeks to your body doesn’t get used to it. This was a concept I never fully understood until I started this workout. Now I incorporate it into every thing I do regardless of its P90x or not. I have achieved great results in a short amount of time because of it. If you find yourself doing the same workouts over and over again and you aren’t getting the full results you desire; change it up. I think you will be surprised how much it helps.
