Holiday Weight Gain

I went into this Christmas and New Year’s season with the desire to eat healthy and continue my workouts.  I managed to do that to a degree. I did let myself enjoy the good food around me but I think I managed to keep my portion control under check. I entered the holiday at 18olbs and 13% body fat. On January 2nd, my weight was 181lbs and my body fat was 13.3%.  I consider that a mild success!!

One of my goals for the new year was to eat 100% natural and primal. Its now January 4th and so far I have succeeded in that. I have even dropped down to 179lbs.  My workouts have been sparse this last week. I did manage to get to the gym on Saturday with the kids but yesterday I was off and today doesn’t look very good either.  I am hoping the rest of the week pans out.  We shall see.

I will make sure I keep everyone up to speed on how the Primal lifestyle works out. As a benchmark, I started the new year at 181 and 13.3% body fat. Lets see where I go from there!

    How do you measure your body fat percentage?

      I have an Omron Fat Loss Monitor. Same type you will find in most gyms. Pretty inexpensive on amazon. I think they are like 30 bucks now.
