In my opinion this game/exercise program is a success. Participating in the 30 day challenge I lost 14 lbs total. I feel great and did not get bored with the exercises. I am taking a small break and then will be giving the 30 day challenge another go on a harder level. Thank you for the opportunity to share my journey with the StartBeingFit.com community.

21 days down, I now weigh 221lbs, for a total 13lbs lost so far. My original goal was 2-3 lbs a week, so far I am surpassing my goal at just about 4.3 lbs week. I think I am leveling off at the moment and will finish these next 9 days strong. I am already excited to try the other preset workouts on the game and create my own custom programs too. My current weight goal is 195lbs by June. Slow and steady so I can learn to maintain.

So 10 days down, 10 lbs down. The EA sport Active challenge is a great workout. The exercises are fun and entertaining. Cardio boxing, basketball, cardio dance, volleyball, these are just few of the workouts that you can choose from. Creating your own workouts along with the preset workouts really gets you burning calories and toning up. Eating right and staying active are the keys to success.

Question: Anthony, can you tell SBF readers a bit about yourself and why you decided to take the EA Sport Active Challenge? Did you have a specific reason for deciding now is the time you want to get in better shape?
Answer: Well as you mentioned my name is Anthony, I am 29yrs old, I am 5’7” and weigh in at 234 lbs. I work for a local tech company as a system engineer and have been married for almost 20 months. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and working on my 1961 Belair project car. My motivation for taking the EA Sports active 30 day challenge and to get in shape was due to some Christmas gifts that were bought in a smaller size. I am in between a Large and an XL. The Shirts are a bit snug and instead of exchanging them I figured why not try to drop a few lbs and try to fit in them.
Question: Have you have tried other fitness programs in the past? If so, how does the EA Sport Active Challenge compare?
Answer: I have tried other fitness programs on DVD and vhs in the past but have never been able to achieve the results that I wanted or be able to keep the weight off. So far EA sports active has changed the way a quick 30 minute can keep me entertained and energetic. The encouragement from the personal trainer keeps my motivation elevated.
Question: What are your overall transformation goals? Do you have a specific target weight or body fat percentage goal that you are looking to achieve?
Answer: My goals thus far are to keep with the 30 day challenge and try for a goal of 3 lbs a week. The overall goal is to get down under 200 and maintain that weight.
Question: Will you report back weekly on your status?
Answer: Sure thing, so far I am on day two of the 30 day challenge and I am down 2.2 lbs.

Thank you for the comment. My wife has also joined me in the 30 day challenge and it has been great to have a workout partner to push through those tough days, when working out is not a priority.
