A few weeks ago I came across a company called Agion Active that was offering a free t-shirt made with a new technology that promised to eliminate odors created during intense workouts. It sounded like a fantastic idea but being a bit skeptical, I emailed the company requesting a demo. A week later I had the T-shirt in my hands ready for me to test. A few weeks passed by and I figured I should give it a shot. Enter in the picture P90x Plyometrics. If there was ever a workout that would create a good sweat, Plyometrics was it.

After 30 minutes of intense jumps, squats, and everything else Tony Horton threw my way, I paused the program and gave my pits a good sniff. I could immediately tell what side of my shirt was treated and what side wasn’t. 60 minutes into the workout and with a shirt that was completely drenched with sweat I will still smelling good.

Agion Active is the first and only treatment that handles both microbial based and ambient, absorbed odors. They don’t make the shirt but rather the treatment that goes on it. The possibilities are endless. I would love to see this treatment find its way into shoes. My shoes get the worst after a few weeks of intense wear. Having something that could block that smell would be fantastic.
