Pumpkin Shake Recipe

I am always trying to come up with ideas and recipes for protein shakes. I had some left over pumpkin fixings from some Almond Butter Pumpkin Brownies I had made so I thought I would see how it tastes inside a shake. Here is what I came up with.

Recipe: Pumpkin Protein Shake

Ingredients
  • 1.5 Cup Almond Milk
    1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
    2 Tablespoons Almond Butter
    1/2 Cup Pumpkin Filling
    1/2 Cup Strawberries
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Cooking time (duration): 5

Diet (other): High protein, Gluten free

Number of servings (yield): 1

Meal type: breakfast

Culinary tradition: USA (General)

      It wasn’t too bad. Not my favorite but I wouldn’t see myself making it again. I think some cinnamon would have added a nice effect. I was trying to go for a pumpkin pie flavor.
