I have been wanting to do this one ever since I saw a variation of it on Mark’s Daily Apple. Overall it tasted pretty good. I sort of wish I had some vanilla or even some unflavored protein powder. A lot of the flavoring of the avocado was lost in the chocolate protein powder. The texture was really thick. Adding some more almond milk would have taken care of that.

1 cup Almond Flour

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon pure apple sauce (not sure if this is primal)

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

I scooped it onto the griddle in small doses and cooked about 5 minutes on each side. I topped them off with some homemade blueberry syrup (microwaved blueberries blended with a tablespoon of honey) and real butter.
