Millions of Americans don't know it, but the mineral water benefits of countertop filters far outweigh those of bottled H2O. With a mineral revitalization purification system they can get the same great taste cheaper in their own kitchen. However, people are afraid of germs and bacteria and they think bottled is their only option.
It's time you saw the truth that all the major bottling companies don't want you to see.
Going the pre-packaged route seems like the best solution to the problem. It's bottled at the source and kept air tight for the journey to your home, right? Why hassle with a countertop filter? How about this for a reason? You can get mineral water benefits at a fraction of the price.
What you don't know is that federal regulations allow the bottles to contain small amounts of dangerous materials, just like the water that comes out of the tap. Even worse, if the product is bottled overseas, like Perrier, for example, routine testing results are not reported to the Environmental Protection Agency.
Several years ago, a health department official decided to test a bottle of Perrier, just for fun. He wanted to show the treatment facility people what "pure" really looked like. Much to his surprise there was a level of benzene 15 times higher than that allowed by the EPA, whose standards aren't even that tight.
Why take the risk? Use a mineral revitalization purification system, instead. If you buy the right product, you can be assured that nothing is in your glass except a great tasting drink that has a balanced mineral-content and pH level.
As long as you think bottled is your only choice, you are falling right into the company's plans. Except that now you know that you can have all of the known mineral water benefits in your own home, any time you want. Just so long as you have a mineral revitalization purification system.
Now the prices vary greatly. Much depends on the technology that they use to revitalize and purify.
The idea of a mineral revitalization purification system began with desalinization plants. In them, reverse osmosis or RO is used to remove salt, but it also removes all other mineral-content and the resultant water tastes stale and is bad for your health.
So, once the seawater is desalinized, it is run through another stage that re-mineralizes it. That way, it's safe to drink.
RO manufacturers came up with the reverse osmosis mineral revitalization purification system for the home. Drum roll, please. Not really, it's expensive and unnecessary.
Other systems are more effective at purifying and with ion exchange they provide an appropriate level of trace minerals. Thus, you have mineral water benefits, without the bottle.
There are many mineral water benefits, including nutritional value, but primarily relating to the digestive system. If you buy bottled, it is usually carbonated and will cause you to have excessive amounts of gas. Make the right choice, save money and be safe at home.
